"C1" Implant

An internal conical connection with a six-positions cone index. The conical connection is 2.00mm in depth, with a 12° cone. Due to its meticulous manufacturing process, a perfect fit between the implant and the abutment is achieved, eliminating micro-movements and minimizing bone resorption.

Domed Cutting Apex: C1 features a domed apex, providing its tolerance and safety during insertion. Two cutting blades at the implant’s apex, establish C1's self-tapping properties, supporting a simpler, safer and faster procedure.

Thread Design:The interior body of the implant is mildly more tapered than its outline. This is achieved by deeper threads at the implant’s apex, gradually becoming shallower towards the implant’s neck, resulting in a mild horizontal bone condensing. In addition, the threads are sharper at the apex, gradually lessening towards the implants neck. This unique thread design establishes the implant's insertion properties as well as a vertical condensation of the bone. C1 features a dual thread which increases the BIC (Bone to Implant Contact) over the entire implant’s body. The Dual Thread doubles the implant's insertion rate (1.50mm), facilitating a simpler and faster implant placement.

Micro-Rings: at the implants neck significantly increase the BIC (Bone to Implant Contact), avoiding bone resorption at the implant’s neck.

Platform Switching: C1 features a platform switching, keeping the implant-abutment connection away from the bone, thus minimizing bone resorption. Platform-switching additionally allows a better and more vital growth of soft tissue.

Surface Treatment: C1 implants are sand-blasted and acid etched. This surface treatment increases the implant's surface area, by creating both micro and nano-structure and eliminates various surface contaminations. Along with a thorough cleaning process, the acid etching process ensures a high quality pure surface. The combination between sand-blasting and acid etching has been substantially proven in numerous clinical and scientific studies, to maximize the BIC (Bone to Implant Contact) and create an osseoconductive morphology, achieving superb osseointegration results compared to other surface treatment methods.

Final Drill: Each and every C1 implant is packed and supplied with a sterile, single use, stainless steel final drill. The drill is custom-made, in accordance to the implant’s geometry and design, achieving an osteotomy to perfectly position the implant. The custom-made final drill offers a simpler, safer procedure and an increased success rate.

Color coding: A platform indicative color coding of both implants and abutments supports an immediate identification of C1's implant platform during procedure.

Packaging: C1's package box consists of final drill, cover screw and a temporary peek abutment. Whether a submerged procedure, one-stage procedure or immediate loading, the package provides the clinician with the freedom to choose which procedure to follow in real time.

DSM (Dual Stability Mechanism): Based on the implant's unique geometry along with its specially designed final drill, C1 offers a Dual Stability Mechanism (DSM). The DSM combines the benefits of high primary stability with an accelerated osseointegration process, minimizing the DIP. Enabling moderate compression of the bone at the top 2/3 of the implant's body, the implant's conical geometry provides an immediate mechanical primary stability, while the apical 1/3 enables rapid bone growth, minimizing stability loss during the first weeks after surgery. The secondary stability is stimulated by the differential drilling approach that forms specially designed 'compartments' between the implant’s thread at its apical part, up to one third of the implant’ body. These 'compartments' prevent bone compression at this area of the implant, providing an ideal habitat for accelerated and sustainable bone growth and osseointegration.

Raw Material: All MIS' implants are made of Ti-6Al-4V ELI (Grade 23), the higher purity version of Ti-6Al-4V. This specific type of alloy combines biocompatibility, excellent fatigue strength and low elastic modulus. These benefits make Ti-6Al-4V ELI mechanically superior to titanium grade 4 and the ultimate dental and medical titanium grade. Similarly to commercially pure titanium (Grades 1-4), MIS' implant's outer surface consists of a thin layer of pure titanium oxide (TiO2).
